How to Fix No Sound on Google Chrome Web Browser for Android Devices

Recently, when I opened the video link from Chrome web browser the video was clearly visible, but there was no sound from the video. I was shocked for a moment, later I checked other music apps and tried YouTube videos, sound was perfectly audible with no issues. If you have come across similar issue, please go through the tutorial below.

First step

Open your chrome app, tap on the top right corner with three vertical dot(menu)

Second step

Scroll down, click on settings, and there at bottom click on site setting

Third step

Scroll down search for option Sound, check option allow sites to play sound

That's it, now you can check the sound from Chrome web browser. Also, Try using websites like Zedge, Redringtone or makeuseof.com on chrome to confirm everything is working. As a disclaimer & safety concern, Don't open unknown links on your mobile. We have mentioned it for illustration purposes.
