There are plenty of models both online and offline, but never dive in based on the online reviews and avoid retail salesmen at all cost. They will never tell you about the issues that comes after.

You could always choose Smart TV. Initially Smart TV's didn't have much needed apps, but TV Brands have started noticing a trend in market which is moving towards smart products. So great news for us, most of the popular apps are coming in and constantly getting updated. Non Smart or a Normal TV is only wished for lower price and traditional usage.

Is this for you. unless you are only using this to show off or really want to enjoy the theater style viewing experience. It is a niche product, as I do not want to lure any misconceptions. An honest opinion, check it out personally in stores and take a decision. Whereas, Flat display always has a better viewing angel and does not require you to be always at the best position.

OLED vs QLED

OLED (Organic) is widely used around different brands, QLED (Quantum DOT) is from Samsung. Both the technology's are decent, in terms of viewing angels, color contrast, Darker Black's, True Color, Live View experience, Higher Pixel Per Inch Ratio, Bezel-less, Thinnest display as the marketing tech terms goes on and on. Samsung's QLed has backlight control, where blacks are enhanced for better picture clarity on low light.

Well after you have decided technology, its time to see the type of resolution. Better picture quality a.k.a clarity at best resolution's available. 

UHD  -   3840*2160

4K     -   4096*2160

QHD  -   2560*1440

Now if you think higher the resolution better the quality, is not the case always, it also depends on the HD quality source you feed it and the price that your willing to pay for such an output, Value for money again needs to be a deciding factor, along with choosing HD DTH stretching your budget higher.
